"Jasne Błonia" Ophthalmology Centre
Founded in July 2001 by dr Zofia Nawrocka, prof. Jerzy Nawrocki, dr Małgorzata Dzięgielewska, dr Krzysztof Dzięgielewski and dr Zbigniew Pikulski. In addition prof. Zofia Michalewska also work at the centre.
The clinic was founded on the model of similar private centres in Germany, France and the USA. Our main goal was to create the most modern vitreoretinal surgery centre in Poland, offering comprehensive services for the treatment of diseases of the eye and providing the best medical care. The first operation in our clinic was carried out in December 2001. Since that time, we continue to offer the highest level of services. See the range of services.
Outpatient clinic
At the centre there operates a modern outpatient clinic, equipped with a diode laser for retinal treatments and a neodymium-YAG laser, so it offers services standing on the highest level.. Full diagnostics of diseases of the retina is made possible by digital angiography and the latest Topcon Optical coherence tomography Zeiss. See more about the clinic.
Scientific Activity
A very important field of activity of our centre is a scientific activity. Our doctors are members of the Polish Ophthalmological Society, EVRS , AAO, ESCRS, ASRS, DGII, DOG and Retinologische Geselschaft. We participate in the annual congresses and conferences organised by these societies. Our centre has organized four vitreoretinal symposia (in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2010). Our symposia gather world-class eye care professionals from Europe and the USA. In 2008 we organized the training "All of SOCT and HRT." The “Jasne Błonia” eye centre is also involved in clinical trials of new drugs and surgical procedures. See more about symposia.

With great commitment and enthusiasm of our small team, we are permanently inscribed in the image of Polish ophthalmology. It is appreciated not only by a narrow circle of specialists; was also recognised as the best private ophthalmologic clinic in Poland in the ranking of the weekly "Wprost" in 2002 and 2005.
